Meet Kerri SumlerShe is honored to serve Michie and our surrounding communities as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Born and raised in McNairy and neighboring Hardin County she graduated from Adamsville High School in 2005. Kerri went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Alabama in 2010, and later completed a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Family Practice at Middle Tennessee State University in 2017.
Kerri's early career in nursing was spent in the fast-paced environment of emergency medicine, where she trained for seven years in ERs across our region, including Magnolia Regional Health Center, Eliza Coffee Memorial in Florence, AL, and Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. After becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 2017, she spent another seven years at Magnolia Regional Health Center with a teaching hospitalist group, working alongside many wonderful physicians in an internal medicine program. She chose this path intentionally—to obtain the most comprehensive training possible to provide the highest quality care to her patients.
